Their Everly Pendants helped anchor the island, without becoming obtrusive in views, adding so much character to their kitchen. The L-Shape of the original kitchen was making the space pretty limited. So we changed up the layout with a small island in the middle, and offered some more practical storage solutions, along with a little eye candy. Historically, these rooms were Lord Strathcona’s private rooms and as such possess astonishing period features that reflected his status. What is there to do at Glencoe House?
The warm ambiance of the bathroom is created by the soft caramel coloured tiles and the candles. Choose between the roll top in the bedroom or the Japanese style bath in the bathroom. It is very deep bath but is shorter than a conventional bath; it is great for relaxing the shoulders and neck. Suite Eight bathroom has a Hansgrohe raindance shower, which has generously sized Aveda products. The room has a WC and handwash basin with Penhaligon products for your enjoyment.
Tea & coffee is but a step away with your Nespresso coffee machine in your room. Overall the sitting room offers the luxury of choices no matter how ambitious or un-ambitious your plans might be. Each Strathcona lodge comprises of a comfortable sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a fully-equipped kitchen with SMEG Induction Range, Washer/Dryer & Dishwasher. The luxurious bathrooms have a large walk-in rain shower and separate bath, with Highland Soap toiletries.

Suite Eight is an one bedroom suite and occupies half of the ground floor of the mansion house (110 sqm/1184 sq ft).

They were ready to repurpose this space as a gathering area for family, and lots of good reading time. They’re a family of avid readers so this just made sense to change it over for them in a really fun way. This coffee table was the perfect solution to bring in a whole lot of character, without taking up much visual space. It definitely adds a touch of that classic, old-world charm to any bath. And just like all the pieces we selected for the kitchen, the bath faucet also comes equipped with DIAMOND Seal Technology. We were thrilled to give these sweet clients a fresh half bath, as well.

The kitchen was packed with quality food and drink items-most of which was included in the price. The lodge is in a beautiful forested setting and there are lovely walks directly out from the hotel/lodges around the lake and in the forest.
